Former AC/DC drummer Phil Rudd was sentenced to eight months of home detention on charges of threatening to kill a former staff member and drug possession in New Zealand's Tauranga District Court on Wednesday. The Australian-born musician had initially denied the allegations but changed his plea in April. The 61-year-old was accused of attempting to hire a hitman to kill a former employee. Judge Thomas Ingram said Rudd posed a low risk of re-offending but warned the 61-year-old would go to prison if he violated the terms of his sentence. "I stone cold guarantee that's where you'll end up. I'm not your headmaster, I'm not your father, I'm a judge," Ingram said.
