Recently ousted Catalan leader Carles Puigdemont has turned himself in to police in Belgium, along with four of his former ministers. A spokesman for the prosecutor’s office in Brussels said a judge would soon decide whether to carry out a Spanish judge’s arrest warrant against Puigdemont, who fled to Belgium after the central Spanish government thwarted the region’s independence referendum and established control over it.
