Former Palm Beach Gardens police officer Nouman Raja has reportedly been arrested for the October 18 shooting death of Florida musician Corey Jones. Palm Beach County State Attorney Dave Aronberg confirmed Wednesday that the ex-cop has been indicted on charges of manslaughter by culpable negligence and attempted first-degree murder with a firearm. Raja allegedly shot and killed Jones while the latter sat in a disabled vehicle awaiting roadside assistance. The officer was fired several weeks after the incident, but no charges were filed until this week. An audio recording of Raja speaking to Jones in a "threatening manner" before the shooting has reportedly become a key piece of evidence.
