Former Dallas Cowboys running back Darren McFadden was arrested in Texas early Monday after driving while intoxicated at a Whataburger, TMZ Sports reports. McFadden, 31, was reportedly asleep behind the wheel of a 2019 GMC Yukon while at a Dallas-area Whataburger drive-thru. When confronted by police, McFadden reportedly resisted officers and two of the former NFL player’s car windows were damaged in the incident. He was then reportedly taken to a nearby station and booked for a “DWI and resisting arrest,” only to be released on bond shortly after. According to TMZ, McFadden spent seven seasons playing for the Oakland Raiders before signing with the Cowboys. He reportedly retired in 2017.
