Former Minneapolis FBI agent Terry J. Albury was sentenced Thursday to four years in prison for leaking classified documents, according to the Justice Department. In March, Albury pleaded guilty to leaking classified national-defense information after he was accused of sending documents to The Intercept. In the announcement, Attorney General Jeff Sessions emphasized his mission to crack down on leaks, stating, “We are conducting perhaps the most aggressive campaign against leaks in Department history.” “Crimes like the one committed by the defendant in this case will not be tolerated—they will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law and punished,” he added.
