Anthony Mason, a former New York Knicks forward who helped lead the team to the NBA Finals in 1994, has passed away. He was 48. Mason was diagnosed with congestive heart failure earlier this month and underwent multiple heart surgeries. Mason was the winner of the NBA’s Sixth Man award in 1994-95 and also played for the Charlotte Hornets, Milwaukee Bucks and Miami Heat.
