If this is true, 72 days is not very long to keep a staged marriage going. Kim Kardashian never got over Reggie Bush and her marriage to Kris Humphries was a publicity stunt, according to her former publicist Jonathan Jaxson on Saturday. Jaxson claimed that Kardashian realized she did not want to marry Humphries two weeks before the wedding, but “they were obligated to honor contracts [with the E! network which had TV rights]; otherwise they would have owed a lot of people a lot of money.” To add further insult to Humphries, Jaxson said Kardashian had “never gotten over” her ex-boyfriend Reggie Bush. Jaxson also disputed Kris Jenner’s assertion that neither Kardashian nor Humphries made money from the wedding. “They had a lot of contracts, they had endorsements. To say they weren’t paid is a lot of foolish garbage.”
