Former Reebok and Dollar General CEO David Perdue is officially the GOP nominee for Senate after winning a runoff against 11-term Georgia Representative Jack Kingston on Tuesday. Perdue, who spent $3 million of his own money, will face Michelle Nunn in November. While it was a Tea Party versus Establishment race, it did get heated as Perdue was opposed by multiple super PACs, including that of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.
