Floyd Mayweather Jr.’s ex-girlfriend filed a $20 million lawsuit against the boxer Tuesday, accusing the recent victor of defaming her in an interview with Katie Couric in April. The lawsuit, filed in Los Angeles Superior Court, alleges Mayweather wrongly describes her as a drug abuser while recounting a 2010 domestic violence incident against Harris. Mayweather was sentenced to 90 days in jail in 2011 after pleading guilty to a battery domestic violence charge over the 2010 incident. A spokesperson for Mayweather did not immediately respond for comment on the lawsuit.
