Testosterone—and Sylvester Stallone—dominated movie theaters this weekend, with The Expendables grossing $35 million and winning the No. 1 spot at the box office. This despite the fact that Julia Roberts’ highly anticipated Eat Pray Love opened, too, grossing about $23 million—Roberts’ highest opening since America’s Sweethearts in 2001. Meanwhile, the weekend’s other wide release, Scott Pilgrim vs. the World, grossed a disappointing $10.5 million, even with raving fans at Comic-Con—and, of course, Michael Cera’s own fanbase. In the fourth-place position: Inception, raking in an additional $11.3 million.
