Explosions Across Baghdad Leave 35 Dead

A string of car bombs and suicide attacks across Baghdad have killed at least 35 people and wounded more than 100 others, sources said on Sunday. The deadliest attack when car bomb near a crowded market exploded and a second attacker detonated explosives strapped to his body in the northern Shaab neighborhood, leaving 19 people dead, security and medical sources told Reuters. Meanwhile, a car bomb in the capital city's northeast killed nine others, according to the sources. No group immediately claimed responsibility, but the city has been gripped by a wave of bombings by ISIS militants.
