One of the Facebook groups shuttered last week as part of the social media site’s effort to target pages “affiliated with one another and likely operated out of Russia” attempted to organize a series of anti-Hillary Clinton rallies in Texas last November, according to Business Insider. The Russia-linked group, dubbed “Heart of Texas,” at one point garnered more than 225,000 followers. The page created an event for a “Texit statewide rally” called “Get ready to secede!” but it isn’t clear how many—if any people—showed up to the rally. The page had very little contact information, no ads, and was created around the same time the site had a surge in fake, Russia-linked accounts, according to Business Insider.
