Alan Knight, a 47-year-old man from Wales, is headed to jail for a $65,000 scam in which he pretended to be a quadriplegic for two years. Knight had been living off his elderly neighbor’s benefits for three years in a forgery scam. He then avoided prosecution for two years by putting himself in the hospital and even getting himself hooked up to an oxygen tank. He claimed he had snapped his neck after falling while pulling down a garage door, and that he had seizures which left him comatose. However, he was caught on film driving in Wales and shopping in Tesco stores all over the country.
