Jimmy Fallon apologized to Michele Bachmann via Twitter Tuesday after his band played “Lyin’ Ass Bitch” as an introduction during her Late Night appearance Monday. “I'm honored that @michelebachmann was on our show yesterday and I'm so sorry about the intro mess. I really hope she comes back,” he wrote. Fallon’s band, the Roots, has taken responsibility for the decision, saying it was “spur of the moment.” Prior to Bachmann’s appearance, the band’s drummer, Questlove, tweeted, “Aight late night walkon song devotees: you love it when we snark: this next one takes the cake. ask around cause i aint tweeting title."
