Well-known University of California, Berkeley astronomy professor Geoffrey Marcy will reportedly resign in light of multiple sexual harassment allegations. Following an extensive investigation, the university announced last week that Marcy was found to have violated school policies in his interactions with female students. He posted an apology note to his website, taking full responsiblity for his actions while disputing several of the claims. An official announcement of his resignation is expected on Wednesday.
