Floyd Lee Corkins was officially charged with shooting a security guard at the Washington, D.C., headquarters of conservative lobbying group Family Rights Council on Thursday. The 28-year-old wore a white prison jumpsuit when he appeared in court and “showed no visible emotions or reactions,” the Associated Press reports. According to the FBI affidavit, authorities found 50 ammunition rounds and 15 Chick-fil-A sandwiches on the suspect. He is charged with intent to kill and bringing firearms across state lines, and is being held without bond. A detention hearing is scheduled for next Friday, and a mental evaluation was ordered.
