Far-Right Show TruNews Doubles Down on Claim That Tom Brady Is Controlled by Witchcraft
The end-times show caused a stir when it brought attention to an off-hand comment made by the Patriots quarterback about wife Gisele Bündchen.
Because we watch Trumpland TV so you don't have to, today we learned that right-wing network TruNews is sticking by its warning to New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady that he must repent for dabbling in the “dark arts” or face an eternity in the burning pits of Hell for him and his family.
TruNews initially made its observation about the six-time Super Bowl champion a few days ago, sparking mockery from Boston radio stations and pretty much everyone else. But TruNews is sticking by its interpretation of Brady’s tongue-in-cheek comments about his wife Gisele Bündchen’s powers:
This is a really serious problem, because Tom Brady is married to a woman that is practicing witchcraft, and I pointed out that God equates witchcraft, sorcery, with murder, with lying, adultery [...] would you sleep and have sexual relations with a murderer? Would you crawl into bed with your spouse who whispers in your ear, "I am a serial murderer"?
She wants him to participate in these rituals [...] but he doesn't think it's bad, but what if she introduces, I dunno, a pigeon?
I'm not sending them to Hell. If he and his wife do not repent of their sins and turn to Jesus Christ they're sending themselves to Hell and sending their children to Hell.
