This must burn a little: Fareed Zakaria has left Newsweek—and signed up to write for its main rival Time magazine. Folio reports that Zakaria will start as editor-at-large of Time on October 1. He’ll write a regular column and occasional cover stories. He’ll also continue his CNN show Fareed Zakaria GPS and serve as a consultant to HBO’s documentary unit.
