A police officer was not expected to survive after being shot in a standoff with a suspect who is holed up at a residence after a domestic dispute in Fargo, North Dakota. The suspect reportedly barricaded himself inside a home Wednesday and had been firing shots in the confrontation with authorities. A SWAT team was at the scene while authorities continued to negotiate early Thursday, but the suspect had cut off communications. Police told KXJB the suspect called 911 to report a domestic disturbance before he opened fire. Nearby homes and businesses were put on lockdown, including the Fargo Civic Center, where the band Disturbed was performing. At a predawn press conference Thursday, Fargo Police Chief David Todd said the injured officer, identified as Jason Moszer, has a “non-survivable wound.”
