In the stretch of tweets that surrounded his degrading remark about former aide Omarosa Manigault-Newman, President Trump slammed now-fired FBI agent Peter Strzok, the Department of Justice, Christopher Steele’s dossier, Hillary Clinton, special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation, and Attorney General Jeff Sessions on Tuesday morning. He quoted conservative website Judicial Watch, saying “Strzok and others at the FBI should be criminally investigated for the way the conducted this investigation. Instead, Mueller is pretending nothing went wrong.” He said Mueller relied on Strzok and the infamous Steele dossier and blamed its creation on Hillary Clinton, as well as former U.S. Associate Deputy Attorney General Bruce Ohr and his wife, Nelly. He also slammed Attorney General Jeff Sessions without mentioning him by name, saying, “If we had a real Attorney General, this Witch Hunt would never have been started!” And he called for the immediate end to the investigation to follow Strzok’s ousting, saying the agent was behind the probe. He did have some nice things to say, however, praising Judicial Watch and Fox Business personality Lou Dobbs.
