An FBI team that specializes in missing children has joined a massive search for a 6-year-old boy with autism who disappeared this weekend in a North Carolina park. Maddox Ritch, who is nonverbal, was last seen in Rankin Lake Park in Gastonia at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, with his father and another adult, according to WSOC. He started running and the grown-ups lost sight of him, officials said. More than 20 agencies are involved in the search, which includes sniffer dogs and drones. Authorities say they haven’t ruled anything out, including abduction or the possibility that he fell into the lake or is hiding on nearby property. Maddox, who has blond hair and blue eyes, was last seen wearing an orange T-shirt with the words “I am the man.” Anyone with information is asked to call 704-869-1075.
