Despite a few claims in the media, the FBI says that there is no evidence in Orlando gay club shooter Omar Mateen’s belongings or his activity online that he was gay, the New York Times reports. Instead, the profile emerging is one of an angry and awkward man, who made 9/11 jokes and was a “leering misogynist whose pursuits could rattle women.”
