An associate history professor at Ohio’s Kent State University is under FBI investigation for his alleged ties to ISIS, KentWired.com reported Tuesday. Citing an unnamed FBI special agent, the student-run site reports FBI and Department of Homeland Security have been investigating Julio Pino for the last year and a half for allegedly recruiting students to join ISIS. Pino denied the allegations and told the student newspaper that he does not support the self-proclaimed Islamic State and never talked about the terror group in his classes.
