FBI Releases Ted Kennedy Death Threats

Declassified

Plus "sex parties" with Marilyn Monroe?

After watching two of his brothers die by assassination, Ted Kennedy had to live under the threat of it for the rest of his life: The FBI has released the late senator’s 2,352-page file, which includes the threats made against him. Among the most startling revelations is that Robert's killer, Sirhan Sirhan, plotted to kill Teddy too by offering a fellow inmate $1 million and a car to kill him. Also, in 1979, a stalker twice broke into Kennedy’s Virginia home while the senator was not home. The threat of assassination was also a major factor in Kennedy’s deciding not to run for president in 1984.
