Among the most startling revelations is that Robert's killer, Sirhan Sirhan, plotted to kill Teddy too by offering a fellow inmate $1 million and a car to kill him. Also, in 1979, a stalker twice broke into Kennedy’s Virginia home while the senator was not home. The threat of assassination was also a major factor in Kennedy’s deciding not to run for president in 1984.
