The FBI reportedly ran a large child-pornography website for two weeks last year. The site, called Playpen, included thousands of downloadable illicit images and videos. FBI agents took control of the site in an effort to catch users, and part of the operation meant leaving it online for a designated time. Playpen was under FBI control from Feb. 20 to March 4 of last year, giving agents access to about 215,000 registered users. This is reportedly the third time the agency has run such an operation.
