FBI Warns NY Cops of Anti-Islam Man

The FBI has warned New York law enforcement about the cross-country movements of a hate speech-practicing, anti-Islam Arizona man who posted a video on Facebook on Nov. 18 promising to confront a Muslim group based near Albany. In the video, Jon Ritzheimer, 32, of Phoenix brandished a gun, called President Obama a “stupid sorry sack of shit,” and implied that all Syrian refugees are terrorists. In the past, he has organized armed protests at mosques and threatened to “arrest” senators who voted for the Iran deal. FBI agents were apparently in touch with RItzheimer until he got to Scranton, Pennsylvania, when he became angry and cut himself off from communication. An alert citing a “potential threat to law enforcement” was then issued.
