FDNY Rookie Starred in Gay Porn Films

A New York City firefighter and former Marine starred in at least 10 gay porn movies before joining the department on Tuesday, the New York Daliy News reported. Jonathan Jesensky, 33, known as Jonathan West on screen, had told the city about his prior career before being hired as an FDNY EMT in 2012 and then joining the FDNY last week. Jesensky starred in movies with titles such as Semper Bi and Paramedics, and says he’s not gay, the paper reported. After serving a tour in Iraq as Marine, he joined the department as an EMT and was promoted to paramedic two years later, “after graduating valedictorian of his class.” He later graduated in the top 10 out of the 180-member class of new firefighters. “His evaluations and his record are very strong,” said FDNY spokesman Jim Long. “The FDNY, we’re proud of our veterans.” Jesensky’s fellow firefighters said they either didn’t care or didn’t know about his previous career.
