FedEx Delivering on Christmas Day

Says staff volunteered to work.

FedEx announced that it would be delivering gifts on Christmas Day after some shipments were delayed by heavy demand and inclement weather. “All customer counters at FedEx Express stations across the U.S. will be open from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. today, allowing customers to pick up shipments,” a FedEx statement read. “FedEx Express employees have volunteered to work these Christmas Day shifts for the benefit of our customers.” Some shipments were being delivered to residential addresses Friday.
