According to a report in the Wall Street Journal, federal investigators looking into Senator Robert Menendez will file charges as early over this week. Menendez has been investigated for possible corruption, although he has denied any wrongdoing. The FBI has investigated him for two years, and while the specific charges have not been revealed, the agency was reportedly looking into gifts from the Florida eye doctor Salomon Melgen.
