The 91-year-old California woman whose “suicide kits” earned international attention received an unwelcome visit from federal authorities Wednesday. Sharlotte Hydorn says they confiscated her computers, sewing kits, and boxes of the “suicide kits” she sells online. The $60 kit contains a plastic hood that tightens around the neck and a tube that hooks up to a gas tank. It became the subject of much discussion after a 29-year-old in Oregon killed himself using one in December.
