SWAT teams were reportedly present as police cracked down on the protest with military-grade equipment. Two reporters were taken into police custody and released: Wesley Lowery of The Washington Post and Ryan J. Reilly of the Huffington Post. According to Lowery and Reilly’s Twitter feeds, they were both arrested and assaulted by officers.
