The New Jersey lawyer accused of committing four rapes in Boston in 2007 and 2008 appeared in court on Thursday—and his fiancée was right there with him, the New York Post reports. Matthew Nilo, 35, was charged after investigators used DNA analysis and genealogy to tie him to four unsolved sexual assaults. In court, he waived extradition, which means he will be sent to Boston for arraignment. A post on Nilo’s Facebook page suggests he got engaged just weeks ago.
