It seems Rihanna is about FourFiveSeconds from getting booted off Instagram (again).
The 26-year-old Bajan pop diva has been omnipresent during New York Fashion Week, appearing runway-side at a number of shows, including that of pal Zac Posen. And when she’s not hobnobbing with designers, she runs her own clothing line, River Island.
Coinciding with her fashion takeover, AnOther magazine has released an eye-catching black-and-white cover featuring Rihanna sporting a Batgirl mask by the late fashion icon Alexander McQueen. The issue is a special edition paying tribute to McQueen’s lasting impact on the fashion world, boasting A-list stars of the film, music, and fashion worlds outfitted in his designs. Inside, Rihanna channels her inner Anastasia Steele, rocking a custom-made leather bodice and suit by McQueen creative director Sarah Burton. The singer was shot for the magazine by Inez and Vinoodh and styled by Katy England.
On Tuesday afternoon, Rihanna posted the most provocative image from the shoot to her Instagram—in which she sports platform heels, cropped pants, and a cheetah-accented jacket, along with an exposed breast.
The “S&M” singer, who is rumored to be dating actor Leonardo DiCaprio, is of course no stranger to freeing the nipple and challenging the bounds of Instagram’s no-nudity policy. Several topless pictures from her photo spread for the French magazine Lui were removed after she posted them to the photo-sharing service back in April.
As for the AnOther magazine issue, it also includes several old pieces from McQueen, who passed away back in 2010, that were previously thought to be lost.
