Forces loyal to former Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi and the country’s transitional government supporters have put an end to the violent gun battle that broke out in Tripoli Friday. At least nine people were seriously injured in the fight that ensued today following a demonstration by the dictator’s supporters. Forces led by the National Transitional Council are attempting to rid the area of Gaddafi loyalists, although there were some reports Friday that the green flag of the Gaddafi government had been raised at some other spots as well.
