New details surrounding the allegations of sexual harassment against San Diego Mayor Bob Filner emerged Wednesday as two new victims spoke out about his crimes. The self-declared “hugger" not only targeted female military veterans, but those who had been the victims of sexual assault. Eldonna Fernandez, now one of 11 women to accuse Filner of sexual assault, says he used his power to access sexual-assault victims in the military. “It appears to me that he was targeting the organization and hitting on the women of this organization because they were easy prey,” she told CNN. Filner is currently in a multiweek therapy program.
