The final half of Mad Men’s seventh and last season will begin April 5, AMC announced on Saturday at the Television Critics’ Association winter press tour. “What an incredible journey this has been,” show runner Matthew Weiner said in a statement. “We sincerely thank the fans for joining us on this ride and hope it has meant as much to them as it has to us.” The show’s final seven episodes will begin airing after its fellow AMC show The Walking Dead has finished airing the last eight episodes of its fifth season.
