Finland’s PM Dodges Stabbing

Finland’s prime minister, Jyrki Katainen, was saved from an attempted stabbing while campaigning Monday. A government spokesman said security guards stopped a man holding a knife from reaching Katainen. The incident occurred while the prime minister was campaigning in the southwestern city of Turku in advance of Sunday’s municipal elections. No details about the attacker have been released, but the prime minister was unhurt.
