Starting next month, the U.S. Post Office is replacing the 44-cent First Class stamps with “Forever” stamps that will retain their value despite future price increases for one-ounce letters. In 2007, the Postal Service issued the first “Forever” stamp for regular mail, which has since produced over $12 billion in revenue.
