A five-year-old child in Independence, Missouri was shot Friday night amid a gun battle—then callously dumped at a Walmart, the Kansas City Star reports. Police received calls about shots being fired around 8 p.m. and found the little girl at the Walmart. She was believed to be in a vehicle involved in a rolling gun battle and was taken to a hospital afterwards. No suspects have been arrested, and the girl’s condition remains unknown.
