Mark Corallo, a former spokesman for the legal team representing President Trump, has lawyered up in anticipation of being called as part of the special counsel’s Russia probe. While he hasn’t yet heard from Robert Mueller’s investigative team, Corallo has retained the services of Victoria Toensing and Joseph diGenova, Politico reported Friday. Corallo was named in Michael Wolff’s book, Fire and Fury, as having quit his flack position partly in objection to the president’s meddling in the crafting of a statement about Donald Trump Jr.’s June 2016 meeting at Trump Tower with a Kremlin-connected lawyer promising dirt on Hillary Clinton.
