Flight Attendant Disrupts Ride

An American Airlines flight was disrupted after a flight attendant delivered a disturbing rant over the plane’s intercom. The Federal Aviation Administration said there was an “altercation” on Flight 2332, which was getting ready to take off from Dallas/Fort Worth en route to Chicago. A passenger on board said the flight attendant used the PA system to rant about the airline’s bankruptcy and said the plane was going to crash. “She was addressing the captain,” said the passenger, “telling him not to take off, that it would not be her responsibility when the plane crashes and that it was going to crash. Then she was tackled by first-class passengers, who threw her against the wall.” Two flight attendants sustained injuries and were taken to a hospital for treatment.
