Florida's gubernatorial race is still too close to call, even with more than 90 percent of the vote in. Democratic candidate Alex Sink, slightly behind, said she won't concede, calling it a "classic" Florida race. Democrats had more decisive success in New York and Colorado against their conservative Republican opponents. Carl Paladino was defeated in his race to become governor of New York by Democrat Andrew Cuomo; Democratic New York Senators Chuck Schumer and Kirsten Gillibrand also won reelection. Similarly in Colorado, Democrat John Hickenlooper, mayor of Denver, eked out a win over Tom Tancredo, who has been called the most-anti immigrant candidate in America. Republican Dan Maes came in a distant third.
