A Florida man who had just bonded out of jail was re-arrested in the jail parking lot for allegedly burglarizing cars. The man, identified as Casey Lewis, was initially jailed on grand theft charges, then bailed out only to be promptly re-arrested in the parking lot on burglary charges. “After being released, deputies in the parking lot of the jail observed Lewis pulling car door handles and learned he had just burglarized several cars right there at the jail,” the Sheriff’s Office stated. Lewis wound up being “re-booked” at the jail on additional burglary charges, and re-released on a bond of $11,250.
