The Florida Senate race between Democratic incumbent Bill Nelson and Republican Gov. Rick Scott is headed to a manual recount, The Washington Post reports. Unofficial recount results show Gov. Rick Scott with a .15 percentage lead over Nelson—and state law requires a hand recount of races in which the margin is less than 0.25 of a percentage point. While the state’s race for agriculture commissioner is also reportedly moving to a manual recount, the gubernatorial race between Rep. Ron DeSantis (R-FL) and Tallahassee Andrew Gillum likely will not, as DeSantis has a 0.41 percent lead. Gillum reportedly said in a statement that he is not ready to concede yet. “A vote denied is justice denied—the State of Florida must count every legally cast vote,” he said in a statement.
