Folk singer and songwriter Terry Kirkman, best known as a founding member of The Association, has died at the age of 83. “He will live on in our hearts and in the music he so brilliantly wrote,” the Grammy-nominated ’60s band wrote in a Facebook announcement. Kirkman’s writing credits include “Cherish,” and “Everything That Touches You.” He left the band in 1972, rejoined in 1979, and quit again in 1984, according to Variety.
