HANDFUL OF DUST

For Badger Father, Conn. Fire Smolders

Reveals continuing struggle in new interview.

Will New Yorkers help? Matthew Badger, whose three daughters died in a Christmas Day fire in Connecticut last year, revealed that he’s still struggling with their deaths in a new interview. The 47-year-old commercial director and New York City resident also said he’s having trouble raising money for the foundation, the Lily Sarah Grace Fund, that he says is his little angels’ legacy. “I put my three daughters out there. And this is what they’re worth?” Badger said of his frustration raising funds. The distraught chain-smoking dad has traveled the world—even visiting the Dalai Lama—searching for peace since his daughters’ deaths.
