Not quite Queen Bee yet: Lady Gaga has debuted on Forbes’ Celebrity 100 list at an impressive fourth. The magazine’s list of the most powerful celebrities ranks Oprah Winfrey as No. 1, a comeback of sorts, as the talk show queen was bumped down by Angelina Jolie last year. (Jolie ranks 18th this year.) Oprah made $315 million in the last 12 months. Beyonce came in second, making $87 million, largely from her huge global tour, and pulling in major album sales, endorsements, a fragrance, and cash from her fashion line. Director James Cameron ranks third, earning $210 million; his Avatar is the highest-grossing film of all time. The Forbes ranking measures earnings and “media visibility.” Lady Gaga, with $62 million in earnings, beat out older established pop stars like Madonna, who’s ranked 10th, and U2, which ranked seventh.
