The former editor-in-chief of Gawkerdefended the company’s decision to post a sex tape of former wrestler Hulk Hogan in depositions taken prior to the beginning of the current trial. Albert J. Daulerio said that a sex tape would only not be newsworthy if it involved a child. When pressed what age would be the cutoff in this scenario, he said “four.” Hogan, whose legal name is Terry G. Bollea, is seeking $100 million in damages after the website posted a video of him allegedly having sex with a friend’s wife.
