The former CEO of Hacienda HealthCare faced accusations of sexual harassment and other “questionable behavior” for years before resigning after an incapacitated patient was raped and gave birth, The Arizona Republic reports. At least three employees filed sexual harassment complaints against Bill Timmons, alleging that he said inappropriate things to them, according to the report. In one case, an employee reportedly claimed Timmons groped her butt. “You have a sexy mouth. What do you do with that mouth?” Timmons allegedly asked one employee when they first met. The complaints were reportedly referred to the Board of Directors, who ordered Timmons to attend counseling, training sessions, and get a pay cut. Timmons resigned earlier this month, shortly after a patient gave birth to a baby boy. No one at the hospital reportedly knew she was pregnant until the baby began to crown. Nurse Nathan Sutherland has since been arrested on the “suspicion of sexual assault and vulnerable-adult abuse.”
