Former Prime Minister of Israel Ehud Olmert is begining a 19-month prison sentence on Monday, making him the first Israeli premier to go to jail. Olmert will be serving his term for bribery and obstruction of justice, after he was forced to resign in 2006. He was accused of accepting bribes to promote a real-estate project in Israel when he was mayor of Jerusalem.
